QUOTE (Team EAX)
Team EAX is proud to announce our new Hybrid Chiller Project. It will still be based on phase change cooling technology, but with a certain twist. Instead of directly cooling the CPU processor, this device will cool the liquid on a separate Liquid Cooling System. Think of it as steroids for your existing H2O kit. The final device will allow for independent operation of the Liquid Cooling System. That means if you don't need sub-zero temps, you simply flick the chiller switch off, and the Liquid Cooling System will operate normally. The whole system does this without the need of a liquid reservoir.

Will post more updates soon! feuea/chirol_iei.gif

Update! feuea/chirol_banzai.gif

Here are the pics of the dual 120 mm condenser (picked up just yesterday). It still requires a paint job, but overall it's looking great. The hybrid chiller is still in the works due to a slight hiccup in manufacturing. When that's done, it's onward to brazing! Hooray! biggrin.gif

Though not directly a part of the chiller system, the custom T-Line will be used as a part of the liquid cooling system for which this chiller is being built. The 1/2" barbs will be brazed onto the hybrid heat exchanger of the chiller system to accommodate the 1/2" tube size of the H2O kit.
